Alankrita
Tussar silk saree (Ghicha silk)
Description
Alankrita, a Sanskrit word meaning adorned or embellished, reflects graceful beauty and cultural richness. Handwoven in raw silk, it features a warm earthy orange body paired with a calming turquoise blue border that creates a striking yet elegant contrast. The pallu is alive with hand painted Madhubani motifs, including intricate florals, stylized peacocks, and delicate geometric detailing, each brushstroke carrying the storytelling essence of Mithila.
Alankrita is an heirloom, a confluence of Bhagalpur’s weaving excellence and Madhubani’s artistic soul, radiating a beauty that feels both contemporary and timeless.
