Is Bhagalpuri silk expensive?

Generally, Bhagalpuri silk is a little expensive because of the richness of the silk. At the same time, prices of the silk fabric vary depending on the type of silk used, design, pattern, and weaving technique. Handmade Bhagalpuri silk sarees are more expensive than machine-made silk sarees.
How is Bhagalpuri Silk different from Banarasi Silk and Kanchipuram Silk?

Bhagalpuri silk has a natural texture and a very breathable feel, while Banarasi silk is known for its brocade work, intricate detailing of zari. Both Banarasi silk and Kanchipuram silk sarees are heavy because of the zari work which makes it mainly for special occasions. On the other hand, because of the lightweight Bhagalpuri silk, it is suitable for everyday elegance as well.
