Kavyaangi

Kavyaangi, derived from Kavya meaning poetry and Angi meaning embodied within, translates to the one who embodies poetry. Handwoven in raw silk, it features a deep maroon body symbolizing elegance and warmth, paired with a tranquil turquoise border that adds serene contrast. The pallu is alive with intricate Madhubani story panels, where rows of figures, floral vines, and temple motifs come together like verses, narrating the cultural richness of Mithila.

Kavyaangi is poetry woven into fabric, a narrative of Mithila’s living art that unites Bhagalpur’s weaving legacy with the timeless storytelling of Madhubani.
